Biff's Overnight Oats

This is the original Biffen's Kitchen high energy overnight oats. The cat is out the bag and it's so simple to make at home for a busy lifestyle.

Ingredients

  • 100 g  Rolled oats
  • 150 ml  milk or water
  • 1 tbsp  Honey
  • 4 tbsp berry compote (recipe)
  • 1 tbsp  Peanut butter
  • Coconut flakes

Let’s Dive In!

Stage 1 - Soak the oats

In a bowl or jar, combine the jumbo oats, honey and milk so they are submerged. Pop in the fridge overnight or 30 minutes if you forget.

Stage 2 - Compote & chill

This is where you can topping your oats with anything that takes your fancy. My original recipe was our house berry compote, yoghurt, peanut butter and toasted coconut flakes.

Quick Biff Tip

  • Always use jumbo oats for extra texture and to keep fuller for longer.
  • love carrot cakes - add grated carrot, maple syrup, mixed spice, raisins and mixed with the oats to soak and then topped with thick greek yoghurt and walnuts.
