Corn Ribs

Ingredients

Corn ribs... Not like you had before!

Corn ribs are a trendy and tasty take on traditional corn on the cob. The process involves quartering the corn lengthwise to create rib-like strips. These strips are then normally deep fried but I have a healthier, tastier and quicker way!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Corn

  • 1 tsp Coriander

  • 1 tsp Tajin

  • 4 tsp Garlic Mayo

  • 50 g Pinkled onions

  • Start with getting a large pot of water on the boil, enough to cover all the corn. While the waters boils, peel the corn and remove the husks and silks if needed. With a sharp knife, carefully cut each ear of corn lengthways into halves, and then again, creating the long corn ribs.

  • Once the water is vigorously boil, place your ribs in for 10 minutes or until they start curling.
  • Once the corn ribs are done, remove from the water. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander, garlic mayo, pinkles and tajin
