Parmesan rind umami halloumi

Ingredients
- Parmesan rinds (about 4-6 pieces, 2-3 inches each)
- Cooking oil (vegetable oil)
- Chamoy sauce @tajinuk
- Tajin seasoning @tajinusa
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1. Cut the rinds into bite-sized pieces (around 2-3 inches long).

2 In a large skillet, pour enough cooking oil to cover the bottom (about 1/4 inch deep). Heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches about(175°C) or until a small piece of rind sizzles when placed in the oil.

3. Carefully place the Parmesan rinds into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until bubbling and crispy. They might stick together if you over crowd the pan. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried rinds to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

4. Coat with Chamoy and Tajin: While the rinds are still warm, drizzle them generously with chamoy sauce. Sprinkle Tajin seasoning. Unreal flavours. You can also use any seasoning of your choice.

5. and as you’ve just grated some Parmesan cheese together, rind, why not top it off with more cheese!

Here is our updated hours for the summer!

We will be keeping the menus on these exact dates over the summer, so you know what days to come down for to tickle your tastebuds.

We love them more, but I really think the Mexican will become the new katsu curry…it slaps!

Pinkled Onions Recipe…a 10 minute classic to mak

Pinkled Onions Recipe…a 10 minute classic to make at home!

Ingredients:

• 2 litres vinegar (apple cider preferred)
• 300g sugar
• A pinch of salt
• 1 kilogram red onions, sliced

Method:

1. Prepare the pickle:
In a large pot, combine the vinegar, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved.

2. Prepare the Onions:
While the brine is heating, peel and thinly slice the red onions. I like to use a mandoline slicer for uniform thin slices. you can pick one of these up on Amazon for a tenner.

3. Combine Onions and pickle:
Once the brine has reached a boil and the sugar is dissolved, remove the pot from heat.

Carefully add the sliced onions to the hot pickle, ensuring all onions are fully submerged. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

4. Storage:
Once the red pickled onions and brine have cooled, transfer them to clean, airtight jars. Store the jars in the fridge. The onions will develop their flavour over the next few hours and will be ready to eat after about 1 hour. They can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

These red pickled onions add a tangy, sweet, and slightly spicy kick to my dishes and are perfect for topping my Morrocan wraps, katsu curry, salads, and more!

🇲🇦We are overwhelmed with the response to our new Moroccan Meze menu!

I have listen to the team and to our customers to improve the menu so it’s filling, refreshing and healthy and only for £12!

We have created the Moroccan experience where you pick two of the bowls, corn ribs, meze pot (stuffed peppers, olives, pickles and sunblush tomatoes) and homemade loaded hummus & flatbreads.

If you’re still hungry, we always have halloumi fries on or loaded Moroccan potato puffs.

This menu will be staying on Wednesday & Thursday this week before we move to our katsu menu and next week. The new menu is introduced! 🇲🇽

It was so good, channel 5 visited today for a shoot so keep your eyes peeled for BK on TV.
